Organizational Structure
Under the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves there are three principal organizational units, as follows:
- Department for Commodity Reserves
- Department for Legal and Common Affairs
- Department for Financial-Accounting Affairs
Scope of Activity
According to the law, Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves carries out the expert and other tasks mostly relating to creation, procurement, territorial disposition, ensuring the accommodation and storage of commodities, supervision of stored commodities, renewal of supplies, utilization of the commodity reserves, enforcement of intervention measures in the market, balancing of commodities for requirements of the reserves of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cooperation with relevant Federal governance bodies, other institutions and Cantonal governance bodies relevant for commodity reserves, and other tasks set out by the law.
